I go by Marlena. Most people know me as Marla. In my intuitive work, I am Lena. Three names. One person. All the same thread.
I am an intuitive, healer, writer, artist, designer, and stylist -- a Southern California native who moved to San Francisco in 1986 and never looked back. I have spent decades following my passions and most of the time, trusting where they lead.
Intuitive experiences found me my entire life -- I just didn't know what to do with them. Finding the School of Guided Light Healing in Los Angeles changed that. Over four years, I learned to understand and control these experiences. There I studied topics such as science-based intuition, spiritual universal laws, energy healing, and energy clearing.
Everything I do comes back to one thing: helping people remember who they are.
Through intuitive readings, I help you rediscover what you already know but don't quite trust.
Through personal style work, I help you see that when you present yourself authentically, it is a form of self-respect. When your outside matches your inside, you recognize yourself.
My compassion extends to animals too. Every pet mirrors their human, honestly and without filter. When you understand what your pet is reflecting, you see yourself more clearly. That kind of clarity is its own form of authenticity.
I've been sewing for over 50 years and offer private lessons to both true beginners and advanced sewists who want to increase their skills.
I write. I create. And I am always following what lights me up.
About 90% of the fabric I use to create garments is upcycled, repurposed, or deadstock. The remaining 10% I buy new and intentionally--linen, from a source I trust.
I also hunt for quality clothing in thrift stores and resell them online -- keeping good clothing out of landfill and making it available to everyone.
I'm not perfect. Sustainability can be deeply intimidating. One small thing is enough. Whatever fits comfortably into your lifestyle is enough.
I am not here to tell you who you are. You already know.
I'm just here to help you remember.
Intuitive Lena
